ok going to florida at the end of Oct (yay!) for my girls birthday (she loves disney and warm weather) so we need a hire car, i was just wondering if anyone knew any good but cheap rental firms or have just had good experiences with one in paticular, the only stipulation we have is that we need to be able to pick it up at the airport. thanks for reading.

That will make it harder to get a rental, but not impossible.
But the good news is that the Orlando airport has plenty of car rental agencies. Pretty much every major carrier. You should go on to a travel site to quickly compare the prices, then look into the age thing with that carrier.
Budget has Hundai accents, they're like 40000 miles to the gallon (not really but it's up there).
You're gonna pay something like $30/day. Do you have AAA? you can get a discount.
24years old is probably going to require some sort of deposit.
Get insurance.
