Is there any free avi to wmv converter?

I've been trying to find a free avi to wmv converter so I can watch some of my video files through my 360 on my TV. Problem is, every "free" one I've found either puts a watermark in the middle of the video or only does a set amount of time (only a few minutes usually) and then you have to buy a key to convert the whole file. Any ideas?

Super converter is amazing. http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html Their website really sucks though, so good luck finding the actual download... you'll probably have better luck finding a mirror. However, once you do get it it's a great piece of software that can convert almost anything.

Downloading it now, wasn't too terrible to find, though you're right, that website is atrocious. I'll let you know how it works out.

To convert avi to wmv for my zune I use Windows Movie Maker. Gets the job done.

The Windows Media Encoder works pretty well... I've never used it to convert between formats, but I'm pretty sure it can do it.
