Hey guys,

my ol standard white ipod earbuds are giving out on me, lots of crack and I can't stand it. I'm in the market for some new earbuds.

I'm not looking for super quality sound, I have a good set of proper headphones for when I'm at work. I mostly need these earbuds for bus trips.

Any suggestions?

    Sennheiser CX 300
These are the best and longest surviving pair of buds I've ever owned, I'd usually destroy a pair of buds every 3 or so months until I got these and the sound quality is good aswell.

those look pretty great, and there are some stores near me with them. a little pricey but that's ok if the quality is worth it.

The product page mentions it comes with an ear adaptor set -- anyone have any idea about this?

edit: actually now that i've done some searching around, they don't seem TOO pricey compared to the 'crap' ones.

I have Shire e2's and love them to death. They're like 100 bucks tho. They're not quite earbuds they actually go into your ear.

They come with an adapter set of different size buds for the ends with different materials and sizes so you get the best fit

    I like these a lot: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826159089

They also come in black, I think.

i ended up with the sennheiser cx300's. I couldn't find the shure e2's to compare :(

They are much better than my old crappy ipod earbuds which I used for years and years. way more volume, better treble, and i can actually have bass (THIS i did not expect out of earbuds). I'm currently trying out the different ear adaptors -- the biggest ones give me the most bass and cut out the most sound, but they might end being uncomfortable.

    thanks for the recommendations!
