Has anyone experienced this first hand before? Basically I bought this car that had a seized engine. We dropped a new one in and it started the first time and after that never again.
So we towed it from the shop to my house. I came back from school to look at it (car and home are an hour away from me) and for some reason nobody thought about adding gas.
The gas is probably around a year old. Right now the oil pan has a hole so I can't start it but my dad said that when they tried to start it after it did the first time it wouldn't even turn.
Starter maybe? I'm not that good with cars but the gas thing really stuck out in my mind.
gas does go bad after a while, and can suck up water. the volatiles that actually do the burning and exploding evaporate out or settle down into the bottom. empty out and refill the tank with new gas.
