Halloween Movie Thread, Back from the Dead (NSFWimps)
So October is tomorrow (or today if you're on the other side of the planet). What movies will you be watching with the lights out as we approach the time where kids go out and rob old people of their candy?
I intend to watch all the Halloweens, the Friday the 13ths, and maybe IT if it comes on.
Edit: It is Halloween now. Time to get out the big pots; the appetizers will be here soon.
I'm taking that Fantastic in Asia course at the U right now. We just watched a chinese movie called "Vampire Hunters" about zombies that turn into vampires. The week before we watched "A Chinese Ghost Story" about some dude who falls in love with a ghost, but a tree demon wants the ghost to marry the devil.
Every time I hear "Halloween sequel" I think "I have to see it, there's no way it could be as bad as the last one."
Ever since the sixth one I've been wrong. I want to be right for once. Because there is no way in hell it could be as bad as Resurrection. Busta Rhymes doing kung-fu and shit.
My wife and I have watched the Evil Dead movies and Army of Darkness on Halloween for like 3 years running now. We also eat a lot of candy and if it runs out we just turn off the lights and stop answering the door.
I haven't answered the door on Halloween in years.
I just wait till I hear knocking then start screaming "Hold still, goddammit! You're only making it harder on yourself!"
Trick-or-treaters don't stay for long.
Now that I think about it, "Halloween is Grinch Night" is very weird/disturbing.
It was made after How the Grinch Stole Christmas, so did the Grinch turn bad again? And the whole story revolves around the Grinch coming back down from Mt. Crumpit, and a little boy who stops his reign of terror, by going into his mysterious wagon.
So many overtones I wasn't aware of when I first watched it.
GSM on
We'll get back there someday.

I saw this one awesome halloween movie a long time ago and I'v completely forgotten what it was called.
This kids hand gets possesed by the devil, so he cuts it off. Then the hand crawls around causing havoc and it's up to the kid to get his hand back and get the devil out of it. Also there are two stoners with the most ridiculus looking bong ever.

this is all far too early we have a whole month to go before halloween
Or the first Halloween and Friday the 13th on DVD.
I don't know
they're probably in vending machines somewhere
I'll be watching the Halloween movies
Beyond that point they were shit. The sixth one, H20, Resurrection. Shit.
I want to see the Rob Zombie version of the original, but it hasn't come to the $3 theater yet.
They really should've just stopped making them after about the sixth one. At least Friday the 13th ended, eventually.

I love me some old-fashioned Halloween Specials.
