Wow, Halo 3 really does have that community aspect going, huh?
Anyway, this is where you can show your fellow PAers any gametypes/maps you've made in Forge, and link to your Fileshare profile so others can download them.
I'll start off with the Bungie Favourites!
Rocket Race (Valhalla/Sandtrap(Race Variants))
Base Game Type: VIP
All Mongooses, only weapons Rocket Launchers and Plasma Pistols.
No-one takes damage, teams of two, one person on each team is a VIP. The VIP moves at 25% normal speed and can't drive. Everyone has Rocket Launchers. Every team has a Mongoose at their starting point.
Destinations light up around the map. When a VIP arrives at the destination, their team gets a point, and the destination moves.
So, basically, you have have driver/VIP twoman teams driving around frantically, fucking up everyone elses shit with Rockets while screaming their lungs out.
It may be the best game type ever.
Pirate Ships (Sandtrap (Seven Seas variant))
Base Gametype: Territories
Two Territories: One on each Elephant base. Only weapons Energy Sword and Pistol. Any ground outside the Elephants takes down shields.
One team has to take their "ship", board the other teams ship, and capture it to win.
"Pirate's Life For Me" lyrics optional.
Now it's your turn.

I created a game variant called Hammer Joust. It is played on the "Sandtrap Joust" map variant with teams of two. Each team gets on a Mongoose and the passenger tries to kill the other players with the gravity hammer. It's tough to score a kill, so it's first to five. Killing while not mounted and while your partner is not in the vehicle with you are penalized so make sure you're playing by the rules or you'll lose real fast.
My file share has a video clip of the variant in action if you want an idea of how it plays out.
Fine details: Hammer is the default weapon with infinite ammo, no weapon or item pickups, no shields, health at 50%, kills score you -1 points, but an assist scores you 2 (this is to prevent people from running around on foot just crushing all the mongooses and results in a net of 1 point per "proper" kill), vehicles are indestructible, the elephant has been modified to prevent anyone from driving it, and all spawn points have been arranged so that players spawn next to their teammates near one of the mongooses and opposite the other team(s) with respawn points nearby but safe from being immediately splattered or run down.
I can dream.
I'm pretty sure you can do that dude
Coran Attack!
Or could I host a game and then have random people join it? I don't really understand the custom games system.
@Bryceforvice on Twitter Facebook
any weapons and vehicles you put down will be "map default". So say you set up a map and want to use that exact setup in-game, you could start it with builtin Slayer.
You have to invite people in.
Apparently they dropped the idea of a custom games server list.
MineCraft: Menetherin
Steam: Vloeza_SE++

DANANANANANANANANA!
Last time, on: Forgeman Adventures.
The pl inside would have only rockets, with infinite ammo, but consider that one must drive the elephant.
So on a 5 vs 5, there would be 5 vehicles attacking the elephant while 4 people inside would shoot rockets out of it.
to make it worth it for the VIP to actually stay inside the elephant, we would have to make it so that he is very very slow.
the vehicles would respanw immediately after being destroyed and the people would have unlimited rockets.
for the vehicle peopel, it would only take a lucky shot or two to eleminate al the people inside, leaving the VIP alone, well we will give hime Extra Defense, allowing him to maybe survive while his teamates respawn and get back to the elephant.
We could have 2 (7 minute rounds?)
When you kill the VIP, you get points, when he walks in the circles, he gets points.
So... whether it is easier to get points by killing the VIP, or we see that the VIP team gets a LOT of circle points, it dosen't really matter since they switch after the round.
What do you think?
I can't seem to find it under custom games...
You have to go to Bungie Favorites (from the Start button menu) and download it. If you've already done that, you'll find it in VIP.
Aye, will do. I like fucking around and not concentrating on how many kills I've got.
