I have access to a wireless network, but apparently the signal strength is too low, so I'll have to try with cords.
Also, I'm hopeless with internety things, and connecting computery things together, so please keep your advice simple.
What do I need to connect the Wii to the local network, when all that I have at this end is some sort of LAN cable? Some sort of LAN -> USB thingy? Or will I need to run it through my laptop?
I have to enter a username and password when I connect to the internet, will the Wii allow this, or will it get confused and not work? I don't need to know this right away, but thought that I should mention a possible future problem.
To tell you more we need to know what kind of network you have set up. Are you running a router? Does your computer connect straight to a modem? If it does is it ethernet or USB?
