This soccer mum in an SUV was tailgating me on the way out to lunch at work today...I just kept driving at the speed limit. She decided it would be fun to ram me, since she was driving a gigantic bloody thing with a bull-bar, and I was just in my Commodore.

However!

Her bull-bar happened to have a gap right where my towbar is.

She rammed right into my towbar, punctured her radiator, causing a rather thick cloud of smoke to begin to pour from her bonnet.

I stopped, looked at my completely unharmed towbar, had a look around at the 20 or so witnesses who were in hysterics laughing at her, and asked her "what do you want to do?". She had a quick look around, probably realised she was fucked, and couldn't pin this on me, got out her phone and started screaming at whoever was on the other end to come and pick her up.

I love days like this. :)

    Apologies. But I'm not sure what else I could put in the OP, and this is so funny it needs more attention than it might get without its own thread, but feel free to lock it, if you really object.

    There's really no need to press charges. There is literally zero damage to any part of my car, there is a small scratch on the towbar, and honestly, even if the towbar was totalled, I don't even use it.

    And she was driving a BMW X3 which now has a busted radiator and an utterly mutilated front-end.

    And overhearing her phone conversation, it looks like she hasn't gotten around to insuring the car yet.

    Smart cookie.

    have fun with the $10k repair bill.
