Hey there everyone how's it going? What's that? You say you need more monkeys in your life? Hmmmm. Well, I can try but I don't think I can get enough on my own. I know! I'll ask my good ol buddies Ohtsam and Pastorius2k for help!
Jokes aside, welcome to the Let's Play of Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, AND 3. This is far too much Kong power for one person to handle though so Pastorius2k, Ohtsam, and I have all taken our respective games. We're playing through up until a world is completed and then that person hands the reigns of the thread off to the next player and the previous person waits for the videos to loop back to them. We'll be trying for 1 new video per day, schedules permitting.

You mean 3 right? Because that's the one I'm doing. Ohtsam is doing 2 and he's really looking forward to the roller coaster levels. Heh heh. And I've never gotten the real ending in 3 so I never even got to play most of the lost world. I was like 10 when that game came out, there was no way I was going to be able to find all those bonus barrels.
DKC3 can be frustrating, too, but IMO 2 is the hardest.
Oh DKC2, one day I shall beat you...ONE DAY!!!

Regardless, I like doing these videos. I'm really craving to do Secret of Mana. I've got too much time on my hands. I could finish DKC1 in a sitting most likely. I'm gonna be really bored every day after i finish the video for each world.
If you want to do your own LP you should just do it. I'm sure plenty of people would like to see Secret of Mana. It's not like Ohtsam and I don't have another thread going too. Ohtsam has Kirby and I have Goemon 2, which is fantastic and you should all watch it.
No, SNES. I can't make N64 videos for some reason. It won't record audio and it cuts half the video off. The second N64 game is pretty great though and Goemon 2 on SNES plays pretty much exactly like it.
I think I enjoy the music more than the gameplay itself

There's some really weird glitch you can do in the underwater level where you ride Rambi underwater or something. I don't know how you do it though.

also, there was a year or so that my dad referred to my Donkey Kong t-shirt as my "shaq shirt". I later found out that he had never really looked at it and thought shaquille o'neil was on it.

Me and my friends tried it last night and it does work. Gave us good laughs for a while.
Now i'm all tempted to dust off my SNES and play them through again, dang it all.
Probably not. No sane person does though, so I'd check insane asylums and internet forums.

Aistan well obviously what you should do is play through and submit it as a bonus video. All bonus videos are welcome as long as they're of an area already done in an "official" video. We don't want people to get spoiled if they've never finished the game before.
