The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Actually, I have a question. Where did the tradition of closing threads with a comic start? I mean, why? I know these are the comic's forums, so it makes sense to us PA comics to close the threads. But why close 'em that way at all?
I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
I know. Those filthy regs are making way more chat threads than they should be.

Elki just likes to lock threads with a comic strip at the end.
Well, I lost my response, but I’ll try to recreate it.
I don’t have a ‘rising new star’ for you. I don’t pay attention to new releases unless my friend recommends them, and I don’t care about an artist or group’s popularity.
I’ll offer Regina Spektor and the Decemberists so that I can have an answer of some sort, though they aren’t necessarily representative of what I listen to.

Oh, well. My bad. I didn't mean to imply popularity was important. I really just meant to ask if there was any recent (last 5 years or so) music that you liked. There's a lot in the field of metal that I like, but I spend so little time looking into it, that most of the bands I do like is mostly just mainstream stuff.
There's nothing inherently wrong with music being really popular, but I can't help but feel like a tool for it.

What happened? Chat seemed to be zooming until this new thread was started... I bet all the cool kids are hiding out in another chat thread to protest this chat-starting-mod-abuse :P

But, to drop names... I can't think of any. When I went to think of the metal I liked, it was still all from the 90's. Not exactly recent anymore, as surreal as that fact is.
Children of Bodom, even though many of their songs sound so much alike, and their lyrics tend to be generic and shallow.
I don't understand why so many dudes who smoke pot try to hide it from their girlfriends. If they're not cool with it, hiding it from them isn't going to make them any more cool with it when they find out.

I'm at work, but too bored to work. What's up with you?
Yeah, why did we quit with the page 75 game?
Elki just likes to lock threads with a comic strip at the end.

I think it was because people could change how many posts a page they viewed.

Not really, dude's just a troll.
So since I can't ask the anime-thread, has any decent anime come out recently? And by "decent" I mean "not about loli-romances".

Wassup [chat]. Entertain me whilst I wait for my turn to shower and get ready.

Not that I know of, but I don't keep up. The industry's gotten too complicated.

Opeth, Old Man's Child, Naglfar, etc.
What's this new Gundam called? I might as well have a look, giant-robots count for extra-credit with me as long as they're not lame.
I've heard that dog hair can help cure that.
Take the butt plug out then.
3DS: 2852-6809-9411
I've never seen a Gundam show.
That might be a bannable offense in some places.
Eh.
It's Robots+Emo.
A son of a bitch"
