For those of you who are just joining us, I do this thing every year whereby the members of this forum exchange beads and trinkets in the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our one true savior, who will help us smite the evil muslims. Or uh, you know, Christmas. (Non Judeo-Christians welcome and encouraged to participate.)
Okay, to sign up I need you to send an email with your forum name as the subject, and your address as the body to secretsatans@gmail.com. You can say I AM SO IN as many times as you want, no email, you're up shit creek, potzie.
Signups end November 1st. No excuses.
GROUND RULES
1. Unless you know that the person you get is cool with it, NO NSFW CONTENT IN YOUR GIFT. Seriously, it only takes one dumb parent to ruin this shit for everyone.
2. There is no spending limit, upwards or downwards. Feel free to spend as much as you want, but do not expect a gift of equal value. Which leads me into rule number 3.
3. Don't bitch about your gift. Unless it's readily apparent that this person put absolutely no thought into your gift. Then you can show it on the forums and we'll all ridicule him. But don't bitch about something that someone obviously put some time into. This is known as the Sarukun Rule.
4. Don't bitch about who you got. This is a community building exercise. If you wanted someone in particular, just ask me for their address and you can buy them something on your own time. P.S. If you get someone you REALLY hate, nothing says "backhanded gift" like a donation to charity in someone's name! www.childsplaycharity.org
5. Send a gift. There will be consequences this year. This is a guarantee.
6. This one isn't a rule, so much as a general notice, but there will be people of different countries participating. My advice if you get such a person is try to find an amazon in their country, or similar website, and simply order them something with a credit card. If there is absolutely no way you can do an international satan, please let me know in your address email.
