I recently got myself a 22'' LCD monitor with a DVI input. I want to connect it to:
1. My Macbook Pro
2. My 360 (with HDMI)
So after looking things up for a bit, I've decided to buy:
1. DVI male / DVI male chord for the Mac
2. DVI male / HDMI male for the 360.
This brings up a couple questions:
1. So far, am I on the right track?
2. Are there any cheap DVI switches I can buy so I don't have to manually switch connections to the monitor all the time?
3. Since the monitor doesn't have built-in speakers, how would I go about getting a pair of computer speakers hooked up to the 360 at the same time as the monitor?
4. Any recommendations for a good set of computer speakers (assuming there's a way to do it)?
5. How do I configure my Mac to act as a tower (with the clam shut and mouse, keyboard, display, speakers all connected) without it going to sleep?
Thanks for the help.

I can't speak regarding the Macbook, but I own an iBook, and I struggled with that for the better part of an hour. It turns out that Apple's laptops aren't designed to be run with the case closed -- they overheat like crazy.
It's probably the first time I've ever cursed Apple's engineering department.
Still need help with the other questions, though.
