I'm all the way up to the last fight. Where the hell is the Super Bomb? I've beet all the dungeons and thought I had all the stuff. I go to the bomb shop to buy the Super Bomb and it's just a pile of regular bombs. The guides are telling me to just go buy it so I can get the golden sword. What the hell am I missing?

You should be able to buy it after completing Misery Mire and Ice Lake Cavern. It just appears in the bomb shop in the Dark World. I've never had any problems obtaining it.

I'm pretty sure I beat both of those. I've got 7 crystals. I got the red tunic in the last dungeon. Is it supposed to be a little green guy selling me the bombs? I'm just kind of stuck right now.

I usually tried to get it as early as possible so I could kick ass around the last few dungeons. Fat Fairy FTW. Anyway, the bomb shop is set up in your house, and you need to buy it there for 100 rupies and then hop around the light/dark world at the castle to blow open the big crack in the dark world. If you can't buy it at your dark world house, you skipped something (or may not have enough money).
I've got 900 some rupies. I could get 999 pretty fast. Any idea what I skipped? The game is not being helpful. What all items should I have at this point?
Ok, here's the items I have.
Top row: Bow & Arrows (regular), boomerang (regular), hookshot, bomb, magic powder, Fairy (in a jar)
Next row: Fire Rod, Ice Rod, blank, ether, quake, Fairy (in a jar)
Next row: Lamp, Magic Hammer, flute, Bug-catching-net, book of mudora, blank
Last row: Shovel, Cane of somaria, blank, blank, magic mirror, blank
That's everything I have in the Item screen.

If you beat Dark World dungeons 1-6, the Dark World bomb shop (the one in your house where there is a little dragon man as the clerk) will have the big orange bomb that you can buy for 100 rupees.
The items you are missing are the Bombos medallion, the Cane of Byrna, the Magic Cape, and two bottles.

I've beat all the dungeons, the hole is on top of the pyramid. When I go into the bomb shop all I can buy are ordinary bombs. Is it possible that not having those other items is keeping the guy from having it for me. I just checked I have 933 dollars or whatever. I'm going in there in the dark world. I'm doing what you guys are saying it's just not working.

Is this a one time item? Is it possible I bought it before when I didn't know what it was and just used it up? That would really suck. But I just beat the last dungeon.

Did you get the dwarf smiths to temper your sword?
I have no idea if that's a requirement or not, just throwing it out there.
Edit: I had this problem once, but I have no clue what fixed it. It just didn't want to show up at the bomb shop.
Now that's something I don't remember doing. I assume that's around the blacksmiths or something? I can find that in a guide at least. I'll try it as soon as I can.

Yep, you've got to save the blacksmith in the dark world and bring him back to the light world and the two of them will temper your sword. You'll get a red sword l3 and then you should be able to buy that big bomb. I don't think you can go right from the master sword to the gold sword.
My sword right now is blue and has a 2 by it. I don't remember when I got that. It's been quite a while. Haven't got a chance to go find those guys yet, thanks for all the help though.

Yep, that's the master sword -- the first "upgrade" you get, and the one that's unavoidable as it's part of the game progression. Now that I'm thinking back, the tempered sword is the one I always tried to get as soon as possible. They're in the light world, to the right of the town. Lots of chickens in front of their house.
Hehe, agreed. Good job, man. You'll laugh yourself silly when you see how much faster things die with the yellow/gold sword.
Here's how you get it.
In the dark world, go 1 screen south of the village.
To the left, there will be a frog bouncing behind some rocks that require the second "Glove of Lifting" (whatever it's called) to move. Move rocks, talk to frog and offer to help him out. Return to the light world simply by using the mirror and a convienient plot hole. Take him home, let them wail on your sword for a bit, profit.
For increased jocularity, help them work on your sword with your hammer.

This space eventually to be filled with excitement
Not to mention throw in your Bow to get the capabilities to shoot Silver Arrows, and make a quick trip back Light World to tank up on the necessities- Blue Potion, a few faeries, the "curse" if you don't have it yet, and as many pieces of heart as you can find, and arrows out the wazoo. Head for the fairy spring in the middle of the lake in the Light World and dump in a shitload of Rupees to get the ability to carry lots more arrows and bombs.
BTW- the location of the last two bottles:
1) When you drop your sword off to be tempered, pop to the Dark World through the convienent single-use warp from when you drop off the dwarf twin. Head to the Dark World equivalent of the blacksmith's shop and grab the chest there. Take it to the thief by the entrance to the Light World desert, and if you agree not to tell anyone, he'll pop it open and give you the bottle.
2) This is one lots of people miss- in the Dark World, go to the equivalent of the lake and swim up the tributary that heads torwards a bridge- if you see the bridge you had to hammer the poles down to get across, that's the right place. Stand in the shallow spot and use the Mirror to jump to the light world. Swim under the bridge and wake the lazy guy to get the fourth bottle.
the "curse": Outside the blacksmith's shop, hammer the post and jump down the well. Head north to the room with the green stone altar and toss in some Magic Powder. A creature will appear and curse you, claiming to drop your magic power by half. Unfortunately (for him), the curse works in reverse- you now consume magic power at a 50% rate.

That's a lot of help actually. I got the new 2 swords. Nobody wants to drop arrows for me, but I didn't know about the fairy trick to carry more stuff. I really need to beat this soon and move on. I was trying to play them in the order they came out but it is taking forever.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't have to mess around with the Dark World at all to get the bottle under the bridge. Just jump in the lake and swim north up the river.

Don't rush it man...best Zelda game and possibly best game
I've not rushed I assure you. I didn't start looking for help until well half way into the game. I've been playing it on and off for like a year and a half. it's time to move on.

I've been buying those trying to see if he will have the big bomb when I go back. He never does.
I went and got all the items I was missing last night except for the 2 jars. He still doesn't have it.

And no, the super bomb is not a one-time item. It's just generally useless for anything else (even killing bad guys).
