Talk about fucking ridiculous. The area of all the wal marts in the world added up is considerably larger than that of manhattan. spoiler for large chart

I am pretty partial to no fast food.

Except In and Outs. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd move back to California just for that fast food joint.

Edward R. Tufte would have a few things to say about the implications of implied volume and dimension on that graph. The third dimension seems slightly misleading in a quantitative sense.

    Either way

I was quite surprised to see that Blockbuster accounts for so much of the square footage. Although, given that there are two within a block of each other in my home town, perhaps I should have sensed it...

Seriously. Is there anything better than Wendy's nuggets and a Frostee?

The fries are hit or miss. But when they're good, golden brown and crispy, they're really good.

And I think out of the big 3 (at least around here, McDonald's, BK, and Wendy's) Wendy's has the best tasting and best made burgers.

    2,326 Wal-Mart Supercenters

range in size from 98,000 square feet to 261,000 square feet

with an average size of approximately 197,000 square feet

    2326 X 197,000 = 458,222,000.

    yes.

    yes it does

it shows you how many of each store there are and the total acreage of each chain

if there are about 1/5 as many Wal-Marts as there are McDonaldses but Wal-Mart has a way bigger total area, you should be able to figure out on your own that each Wal-Mart is gigantic
