Space Sim title

Hey all, I'm trying to find the title of a space simulator for the PC that came out early this year, maybe even last year. It wasn't an MMO but I remember it being very complex. The graphics were really really good, and certainly pushed the limits of the PC. I remember it having a one-word title that seemed kind of strange since it had little to do with the setting of the game. Any guesses?

Spore? It hasn't come out yet and isn't exactly solely a space sim but it is a sim with a large portion of it taking place in space and has a one word title and incredible graphics.

Careful though, it has "copy protection" that can possibly break your system.

I think if you get it from the right source, it's had that particular virus masquerading as copy protection (seriously, who gets Russians to make copy protection programs? it's like asking Burma to police international human rights abuses) retroactively removed.

I think the source in question is steam, although there may be an official patch that removes it for the retail copy as well.

Actually I'm almost certain the latest patch for it removes that damn thing. They learned their lesson at least.
