DVD RW problems [SOLVED]

I have a USB DVD RW drive. I have used it several times to burn DVD's successfully. I unplugged it the other day to plug something into its port without doing the "Safely Remove hardware". Now whenever I put a burnable DVD in it changes in My Computer to CD Drive and wont work or recognize the DVD. Normal DVD movies work, and I havent changed brands of DVD's, I am still working off of the same spindle. Anyone know what the hell is going on?

Nevermind I figured it out, the option to record wasnt checked under the Recording Tab. I dont know how it came unchecked and I never had to check it in the first place. GG Windows. This thread may be locked.
