It's because you're a racist!
Or not. It does look pretty weird.
Also, yay for more GL. I just hope that Final Crisis doesn't have a huge impact on the ongoing storyline in GL and GLC. I don't need to get sucked into another event.
Tough team to resist.

That said, Alpha Lantern chick looks familiar.
Any ideas as to who?
Boodikka, one of the Lost Lanterns.

I've always thought that Ollie should have never died, just lost his arm as originally planned. Then he could have stuck arond and helped Connor out as GA and we could have a fresh GA but still have Ollie and the character that we love in the book.
This is a rant that doesn't belong here.
I just hope that enough fuckers buy this so they continue making them.
I really hope Johns will be a little more creative than that. I'm not really expecting Beetle to get resurrected, but I hope that whatever way he keeps him dead is better than, "Oh no, if I come back to life the world goes to Hell!" It's just really cliche. There was a great issue of Justice League Adventures that had Chronos going back in time trying to save his brother's life, and I thought it handled the whole "preventing death through time travel" issue great.
I hope so. But man, why couldn't they have just released a few huge hardcovers with all the issues? It seems kind of weird to release the stuff that's already been collected for years. Maybe it'll have some cool bonus features. I'd just really love a JLI Omnibus.

that pissed me off to no extent.
Honestly, I think they are testing the waters with this hardcover. That's why it doesn't have a volume number.
