Figured it was time for me to join the Penny Arcade forums. I'm getting all misty eyed lately. A few weeks ago, i found my old snes in a box. I don't really play games too much, but one thing i don't regret is holding onto this small machine of goodness. So many good times..
interesting style, i like the textures you used. watch your line weight, mario's fist is in front of megaman's head, yet the outline is thinner than the outline around blue's head.
Ha. Real cute. I don't think you have to worry about copyright infringement for fan art though.
Really? I guess i'm too cautious, i don't want my pants sued off...
The shading/reflections seem rather randomly-applied though.
Caught me red handed. I think i got too excited about getting it done. (The snes shouldn't have a shadow on the left if the orange thing is a light source, for example.) I might revisit that one a little later when my machine has more ram, it's way too slow working on this file right now...

Good catch, didn't spot that one. Each element/character was drawn individually and combined in photoshop which would explain that one. That's an easy fix, i'll fix it soon.
Don't worry about the copyright shit. Simply stating that something isn't owned by you doesn't give you permission to use it, but there's about a 0.00001% chance of most game companies requesting a take down of fan art that isn't being sold, and even then...
