web browser for mac

I'm using firefox, but it's starting to annoy me as half the pics on any given page don't show up. Looked at Camino, but couldn't work out how to set the prefs so it would connect with the network at my College (student residences). Opera is really slow and some sites (like flickr) just don't work at all. Trying to keep Safari for my wireless access at the Faculty. Any ideas?
Camino, Safari and pretty much every browser built for OS X runs off the Network preferences in System Preferences for proxy servers, which I presume you are alluding to.
You need to do this.

Which then means I need to undo it for accessing the wireless at the faculty. damm. was hoping to get away without having to. Oh well.
Firefox frequently freezes and I need to restart it on my mac. What's the deal with that?
Firefox used to do this on my Intel iMac too... I eventually switched to Camino. I lost my Ffx extensions, but Camino is quicker and has a lot fewer issues.
Not without knowing all the specifics of your network setup.
sorry, don't really know. It's at my College at University, and they like to pretend we're idiots so don't tell us anything. The only reason I even know the little I do is because the IT person didn't really understand macs.
