Sooo how am I sposed to get my computer delivered?
It's shipped and should be here this week, but I'm at work from like 8AM-6PM every day and live alone at an apartment.
My apartment's office "accepts packages", will the delivery guy know to go there, and can they sign for me? I remember hearing once that if I can't be there for the delivery I have to contact them before they return it to sender and try to get it set up to be delivered to like a post office or something
Ask your apartment office specifically. When I was in a similar situation, I asked the office and they told me if I'm not at the apartment that FedEx and UPS will drop my package off at the office, then I just went there and the office has you sign a slip to get your package.
Just to be sure, I also taped a piece of paper to my door that said, basically, "(The day's date), I will be out of the apartment and unable to be here to receive the package with tracking number (#tracking number). Please drop it off at the office.
Thank you,

FedEx and UPS just dropped the packages at the office without taking the paper, but when I dealt with DHL they took the paper off my door. I'm assuming they took it to have a signature, but I figured leaving the note couldn't hurt.
The other option is calling your local FedEx branch and asking them to keep your package for pickup. Then you can just go pick it up on your lunchbreak.
Furthermore, if you think it's safe, you can leave them a (signed/dated) note on your door releasing all future signature-required packages to your doorstep. I did this with UPS and Fedex when I lived in a 1BR apartment.

I had to do this once when multiple delivery attempts failed. I think it was UPS, they left a note saying it was at the depot. This wasn't at the local UPS drop-off store, but some huge warehouse in a semi-industrial area where real estate is cheap. It was kinda a drive, and I had to wait there 1.5-2 hours (it was holiday season, so it's not representative of the normal wait).
I like the idea of leaving a note asking them to deliver to management office.
