Entertaining Company in Los Angeles

So I've got a female friend visiting me in Los Angeles. It's her first time here, and I don't want it to suck. She wants to go to the beach, hit the Comedy Store, watch college football at a bar, grab sushi. Ok, got that covered. Any other recommendations? I don't really want to limit options based on what either of us are into, we're both pretty open. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
