My current TV is... I dunno, about 20-22 inches? Looks about right. The picture is starting to stretch, the top and bottom of the picture are starting to get cut off. The coaxial cable attachment or whatever you call it, is starting to go out on me. Its loose and sometimes I cant get certain channels off the cable, which doesn't make much sense to me cause they work on the living room TV.
Ok, so thats what I have. Now, about me. For the computer I run win2000, and while I don't play many games, its getting to the point where I can't play any new games cause 2000 just isn't supported any more. I'm pretty sure its going to be dropped from windows update soon also. Cause of the low grade equipment in it, I have a hard time playing some games, I have to turn down the graphics pretty much all the way and that kinda takes away from the experience. So I want a new computer but would it be worth it? Are there any good games coming out that I might like? (I'm a fan of RPG's, FPS with story (Half-life basically), adventure games like Zelda and stuff like that)
For the TV, I'm always watching TV, I play more console games than I do PC. However, the one I have now works well enough I guess, I can play my games, and the picture isn't terrible. But it would be nice to have a nifty HD TV, even if it is on the low end cause of my price range.
Basically, I want both, but don't have the money, I see upsides and downsides to both and I'm not sure which would be the better investment. The TV doesn't really need to be replaced but I think it would get more use, and the computer would probably get less use, but soon it will be useless. I guess there is a third option, that I could save the money for something else, but without a job currently (The 400 is from my old apartment, its the security deposit and some other stuff, parents said I could have it) I don't see much being saved up.
For the computer I'm looking at that budget upgrade in the twice and future thread. No idea about the computer, I don't know anything about TV's.
Wow, that came out a lot longer than I was expecting. Anyway, any suggestions?

There you have it. You get the TV. Period.
Another note: I had a NVIDIA GE Force 6400 when I originally built. It was no good. I promptly switched for a ATI Radeon 9800 pro (this was almost 4 years ago). Although I hear the NVIDIA is putting out some good cards now. If you decide to go this route then I suggest doing some research (user ratings, etc) before purchasing.
