MacBook and International Warranty [Solved]

So, i have family friends travelling from America to Australia in the next few weeks. Due to the current power of the aussie dollar, i am seriously considering asking them to bring me a MacBook (maybe Pro) over.

My issue would be with the warranty and the charger.
Could i just use a US to AUS converter for the charger?
Will they honour the warranty in Australia?
Could i purchase the AppleCare of it once it is in Australia?

Thanks ;)

No idea about warranty, but the power supply is an international one, so you just need to get a converter for the plug bit.

    - Yes, the charger takes 100-240v. You can buy an Apple world travel adapter kit for $59. Or just use a unversal adaptor.
    - Yes, the warranty is international.
    - Yes, and it's also possible to purchase Applecare from overseas and pay substantially less than what it costs here in Aus.

    Answered.

    Thanks :)
