So, this weekend is the first annual Sacramento Horror Film Festival, at the Colonial Theater. I won't get to go, unfortunately, because it's fucking expensive. HOWEVER; I thought this might be as good a time as any to make an independent film thread!

    I just recently saw Eating Raoul, which was considered independent from what I recall. I enjoyed it, it rides this interesting wave of mellow and bizarre. Also, you get to see some nice titties. What's not to like?

    I don't actually know a whole lot about independent film... the only indie movies i've seen have been on IFC. I grew up in Wyoming, you see...

    I was just talking about The Dreamers.

    Not only is it a pretty good film, but you get to see Eva Green's lady parts.

    A Clockwork Orange would just not be made in THIS day and age.

    Most movies about torchering, murdering rapests wouldn't.


    Keep in mind that THAT movie was a mainstream, hollywood flick.
