    Eugh... Fox.

Oh well, I look forward to Sean Hannity's bitching when Ron Paul wins their little phone-in thing.

Well, at least with no Tancredo, Hunter and Brownback, that's a nice chunk of airtime that can go to the other six.

Again? Guys this was fun the first 5 times. It was even funny the next 3, when we took a drink every time they mentioned 9/11. But now its close to a complete pain. Is this the secret Republican campaing strategy? "You will get one debate a week until our demands are meet! Elect one of us president or else!!"

Kipling, currently 6 Republican debates are scheduled to January 23rd.
In the same timeframe, there will be 11 Democratic debates.

I can only watch about 3 minutes of one of these at a time. It's just too painful. I hate embarrassment humor.

Anyone that makes the New Year is at least going to hold out for Iowa and see what happens. And no, we have others- Hunter, Tancredo, Keyes now, and some guy named Cox who hasn't shown up at any debates. Which is probably smart, because you don't want to risk being asked about things like Larry Craig if your last name is Cox.

Out of curiosity, what happens to their funds when they drop out or fail to win without having spent it all?

I think part it goes into back into the party's fund or it goes back to the donors or a combo of the others with the person keeping some of it for the next go around at running.

    Well, my night is set.

    6:00: Football Night In America
7:00: Debate (because the actual game, Steelers/Broncos, doesn't interest me)
8:00: Shower for work, back to debate (so if I opt to transcribe, it'll cut out there for a while, so know that)
    9:00: Head to work
7:00 AM: Show up here for 20 minutes
    7:20: Go to bed

How are you going to get a satellite/cable channel with bunny ears anyway?

Damnit, I figured something like this would be simultaneously broadcast on an OTA station. I mean, isn't the point of televised debate to open the process to the widest audience possible?

So, snap judgement: Do I have to find a neighbor with cable or is there going to be a webstream (which I cannot find)?

First up: Rudy, Thompson says you're soft on abortion and gun control. DESTROY HIM.

    Graphic: THOMPSON ON GUILIANI
    SOFT ON ABORTION

Well, that's one way to kick off the night. Rudy seems to be taking the bait.

Romney, Thompson said you ran left of Ted Kennedy in 1994. The graphic agrees. DESTROY HIM.

Next question: McCain, tell us why Mitt Romney sucks. And as a follow-up, take this trident and disembowel those who stand before you.

Next question: Romney, defend yourself with this flamethrower. Defend your honor, knave! I am Brit Hume, and you are all my gladiator slaves!
