Quick Itunes Question

I have a lot of music on Itunes. I've noticed that when playing them, some albums are recorded at different levels of loudness. I'm curious if there is a setting i can use to put all the songs in one playlist at the same output level, so when i play it in my car, it doesn't eff up my speakers.

What you're looking to do is "normalize" your music so that it's all at roughly the same volume.
If it's just a few specific albums that are louder than others, or something else easily selectable within iTunes, you can select the offending songs, go into their Info screen, and use the "Volume Adjustment" setting to tweak it lower until you get it about the same as the others.
Alternatively, if it's a huge percentage of your library that has varying volume levels, you'll want a 3rd party piece of software to normalize all your songs. Just do a google search for "normalize mp3" or something to that effect. I've never had to do it, so I can't offer any specific software suggestions. But I'm sure someone will pop in here soon enough with a suggestion anyway.
