So-Cal Fires

Everyone ok, some people on the forums are probably being evacuated. Apparently its bad.
Stayed at my parents house last night but.... isnt it supposed to be bright in the morning?
Hey this is not a cloud.
Whoops.
Nice contrast there.
Another fire some ways off. Cant see it but for smoke.
This + 40 mph winds + no water + school and work closed = mars.
Basically the wind is so bad the fire department cant do shit but evacuate people. I cannot get downtown.
They are saying it will reach the coast before it is finished. I am on the coast right now. Will be near otay lakes/chula vista/rancho santa fe. Mandatory evac about 15-20 miles from here.
The Santa Barbara fire is now only 5 miles from my parents (with nothing but dry brush between them), and the Orange County fire was 2 blocks from my in-laws last night.
It's like the god damned apocalypse.
Biggest fire I've ever personally seen was when one of the Grain Elevators in town burned.
For those of you who've never seen a grain elevator, they're gigantic storage buildings usually a hundred or more feet tall and older ones (like the one that burned) are almost entirely wood.
The fire was big enough to drift burning debris across the entire town, and hot enough to partially melt the siding rails of the CMR rail line. The entire sky was illuminated orange from 2am until dawn, the it continued to smolder for days afterward.

California always seems like an awesome place to live in, till you hear about wildfires and mudslides and earthquakes every once in a while.
how will i entertain myself for the day beyond my ds?
Repel the Mexican invasion. The front lines seem to be close by.

We would just go out and watch them some nights
We have fires here but they are usually up on the mountains
can someone do me a favor and help me figure out the projected path of the "witch creek fire" and possibly the "san marcos fire"?

Anyway, hope it calms down over there.

Perhaps Mexico set the fires. And now it is waiting for the ideal moment.
