Cranberries!?

My friend gave me a big bunch of fresh crannberries. They are crunchy! I never had fresh cranberries before.

But, they are also terribly sour! They are so good, but can't eat more then a few at a time because of how sour they are.

Any suggestions? Anyway to eat these without being all puckered up about it?

This probably won't help you easily, but chocolate-covered cranberries are actually pretty good

Bake them into scones and/or muffins.

Well, the most obvious solution would be to dust/toss them with some sugar (I would guess confectioner's sugar would work better, because it wouldn't get sticky). DrFrylock's idea is good too, and I would add cookies...oatmeal cranberry cookies are tasty.

    Make cranberry sauce?

I really like it, and it's very easy to make.

They're meant to be sour... anyway, you could make a juice from it and put it in yoghurt...

I don't know the recipe but it's probably just to squeeze the juice out of them into a bowl and add some sugar.
