Actually I just have a cold but I feel like some guy that just left his winning lottery ticket in someone else's grocery bag.
In fact my lips are chapped because of the cold weather, and I picked up one of these:
It's like Ball Point Chapstick.
Anyway, does anyone have any family remedies for colds that might actually work?
Or maybe a medicine that has cleared up some symptoms everytime? I need to go to work feeling refreshed tomorrow.

The only way to fight it is to try and stay healthy.
Eat nutritional foods.
Drink lots of water.
You can fight the symptoms a little bit but those tend to have their own side effects.

I had pneumonia in both lungs in January, I was out of school for two weeks. I really thought I was dying.
I almost never get sick, and then stuff like that happens. Never felt that bad before.
What I'm saying is that you should get pneumonia so that you get out of school and swimming for two weeks.
Everyone knows those things are a joke.

2. Stay warm as possible. Under blankets, flannel pajamas, two pairs of socks, etc.
3. Sleep as much as possible. If you did 1. this shouldn't be a problem.
4. Drink hot liquids and soup mostly. Having to get up and pee will be a problem. If you can catheterize yourself, that might be helpul.
If you keep waking up because you feel like shit, take more Nyquil. If you keep waking up because you just can't sleep anymore, take some DayQuil and go to work, you lazy bastard.
