Sound editing software

Howdy,

I have three audio files (two are .mp3's and one is an .m4a) and would like to condense them all down to one .wav file.

What would be a program to go about doing this?

I would also like to splice short bits of another mp3 into the beginning and end of this .wav, but that's a dream and not a necessity.

I have computers with Windows, OSX, and Ubuntu, so whichever program is easiest (and free-ist) to obtain would be rad.

thanks!

Audacity (freeware, available at sourceforge) should be able to do everything you want quickly and easily.

Thanks, Marty. I'll have to download that tonight and give it a shot.
