TV for 360

I'm interested in picking up a 360, but my current TV, which is a decent size, doesn't do 60hz. I'm guessing this is a necessity, so I'm looking to pick up a new TV as well, for as little as possible.

Will I be ok without a HD-ready TV? For instance, could I happily play on a 21" CRT that supports NTSC?

I really can't afford even the smallest HD TV's around, and regardless I definitely don't have room for anything big.

Personally, I wouldn't say its worth the expense for those extra 10hz.

You'd be best of saving for an HDTv no matter how long that takes.

That's not going to happen in the near future. I'm in my final year of uni, some £20,000 in debt. Even if I could magically afford a sweet 42" HD Plasma, I have nowhere to put it.

The 60hz is because I understand that some games require it, not because I fancy some extra quality.

For the short term, you could connect your 360 to your monitor. you would just need to buy a 360 VGA cable, on amazon the official one is about £20
