Anyone know an easy (Lazy) way to level my 1h sword skill from 300-350?
I would like to be able to hit things when I "tank" them.

Go to the dead mines, rage fire, or any low level instance and hit away

Find a mob that you can survive a long fight with that is immune to Rend, find a shitty low low level sword. Now spam Rend on the immune mob.

I don't know how long it will take you, but spamming rend with a low level weapon will let that rend immune mob survive for a lot of swings.

Screw beating on those alstarj chumps. Go to SMV and auto-attack one of the, wadda-ya-callem, channeling draenei dudes. You know, the ones for the amulet quest. They don't hit back. :)

Edit: the best one for that is by the altar of damnation. Just have to clean up a few air elementals first.

A good place to level weapon skills are, IMO:

The hellboars by Oronok in SMV. He heals you and they respawn like turbo speed.

The never ending flow of dudes running out of the gate to SL. The NPC's don't heal you, but you have a lot of help and the enemies are never ending.

I find the best one is the water one near the naga as you don't need to clear anything if you position yourself properly.

Eyonix is a man after my heart.
    Dear Sousui's mana,

I'm sure that sometimes, lag is certainly just an excuse if the player is embarrassed to admit they had made a mistake. With that being said though, depending on the situation a second or two of lag when healing can be devastating and as a result more easily noticeable that, at the very least "something undesirable happened".

A dps class lagging for a second or two, in most cases will go unnoticed.
I've thought about it further and have discussed the matter with class designers. For Wrath of the Lich King, the 51-point talent for all class healing trees with be:

    External Problematic Healing Prowess

Reduces the chance to lag while healing by 50% and also reduces the duration of lag by 30%.
