Auto Transport

I will be relocating temporary from Kansas to California, and I don't want to drive.

Has anyone had experience with auto transporting? Like what services to use?

    I looked into it, it's horribly expensive. The best I found was around $1400.

    I've made the drive from Chicago to LA twice, it's not that bad. Denver and Las Vegas are convenient stopovers if you're headed to southern California.

    my ex-gf used das auto shippers (or something like that), they seemed pretty decent... pretty much all of them are located in some industrial-type area, but the car arrived on time in good condition, she could track it throughout the shipping, etc
