    I have just started playing Silent Hill 2 for the first time (in fact, first SH game I have played)

    1, 2 and 3 are the good ones. Make sure you play 1 before 3.

    4 has something going for it, but is weaker.

    3's my favorite. And I'll get the PSP version eventually(it'll price drop any day now, watch), because my PS2 backlog is bad enough.

    And I'd rather finish Rule of Rose before taking on another console survival horror(and that could take months).
