Reason for leaving my current job....

I am applying for a new job, and I am just wondering what I should put as my "reason for leaving" from my current employer. Basically my Boss is an asshole, but I know that on new apps you don't want to bad mouth your previous employer.

What do you guys think would be professional but would convey to a prospective employer that I don't jump ship every 6-12 months?

“Think of me like Yoda, but instead of being little and green I wear suits and I'm awesome. I'm your bro—I'm Broda!”

I am pretty sure it might not be as big a deal as you think. People often take on jobs and then figure out that they absolutely hate them and leave.

Maybe something like "I didn't feel like i was using all of my potential at my last job" or "I didn't get an opportunity to use skillset as i had hoped."

Depending on your last job, it might sound a bit snobbish.

"Me and my boss weren't on the same page and it was putting a lot of stress on our professional relationship" Or something along those lines? Or would it be too easy to translate that to "I hate him"?

is the job you want to leave in the same field as the jobs to which you are applying?

Or you felt you had learnt or you could in that environment and felt it was time to move on to improve your skill set.
