I got back into drawing recently after not doing it for a while and I'm going to college for animation next semester. So I figured I'd just post some of my recent drawings, they're pretty rough though, mostly just a few different guys I'm messing around with right now.
Looking at some of the threads here I'm seeing some really great work, so any critique/criticism would be great, I definetly have room for improvment.
for doodles, they are interesting. a big issue though is that because of their loose nature, its hard for the viewer to pick which lines to take as the "outline" of each figure. i agree with mykonos, inking (or even creating bolder lines with pencil and erasing the excess) will make them better.
also, a wider range of facial expressions would be nice to see in your examples. they all have that flat, unexpressive quality to them.

Im horrible at coloring, so I rarely color anything. I guess its something I should work on rather than ignore though.
Now that you mention it, they are all kind of straigh-faced aren't they? I'll definetly work some variation in there in the future.
A couple more......
