Windows Folder Question

Yeah this is pretty dumb but for some reason I just can't figure out what I did. All of the files in my pictures folder have no names when thumbnailed. Just the thumbnails. This inclues other folders in the my pictures folder.

Also, is there another way to take a screen cap on my macbook pro bootcamped to xp without using a third party utility?

EDIT: This is Windows XP by the way. Just thought I would say it again.

    Under the View menu of the folder, look for the "Hide File Names" option.

    I see no "Hide File Names" option under view, or in tools -> folder options.
