Nintendo to launch a new Wii Channel?

Will you be checking out other people's Mii once it's available? Have any Mii's worth sharing? I think downloading Mii (what is the plural? Miis?) on this channel will be better than trying to make custom Mii via web tutorials. That alone will make it worthwhile. Plus, voting on Miis? Will you give it a try?

Launching in 2007, this free new channel builds on the huge phenomenon of Wii owners creating fun caricatures of themselves, their friends and celebrities. The two main components of the free channel include an area where users can post Miis they have created to let others vote on their artistic abilities, and a competition element that lets users test their skills to create the most accurate likeness of individuals or other themes suggested by Nintendo. The Check Mii Out Channel joins the lineup of cool channels on the Wii Menu, which includes the Internet Channel, the Everybody Votes Channel and the Forecast Channel, among others.

I'd have to agree here. For a few of my family and friends (including myself) the tools allowed pretty close Mii versions of ourselves. But for others spending over an hour did no good, and it just looked sorta similar. Would be nice if there was more customization.
definitely true. I tried to make House and had to give up,m but when I made Dr. Foreman I had no problem. I also was able to make Hunter S. Thompson and Kevin Smith with no trouble, but a friend of mine just simply doesn't exist in the Mii universe.
Where I live it's already November 12th. Are launches simultaneous worldwide, or is this an American channel only sort of launch?

You can only enter initials for the name, and I've didn't notice any Hitlers going through the parade. There were only 2 top artisans so Miis might have to go through a process to get rid of the 'offensive' ones.

Don't know what what the number was for though, but if it's to direct friends to your Mii, the number was 1335-1147-3531.

Due to your flawed game system I can't use the Check Mii Out channel with any of the Miis I've created. Why? Because my replacement system (I'm on #3 now) doesn't recognize any of the Miis transfered over from my old systems. That means out of the nearly 100 Miis I've created, none are eligible for the new channel. Thanks a whole fucking lot, Nintendo. Way to kill my interest in Miis. I'm going to delete this dumb fuck channel now.

Go to the "Grab Bag" and search through to find random cool thigns. There are so many awesome Miis already available. Alsa, poor Jong Il will never be downloaded by anyone. There are simply too many other cool Miis out there.
I just created a quick and dirty Mario for the contest, and submitted my halfway decent Quagmire and my piece de resistance, Bob Ross.

They've buried the "search by number" so that it's retardedly hard to find. You have to hit the unintuitive "Change" button in the upper-right hand corner when you first go to the search options screen.
The only stand out good ones I've seen are the Chuck Norris, Ms Piggy, Zelda, Mario, and Robocop. And most of these have examples of how to create them on the internet so there's really no telling how many of these people are the 'original' artisans.
I call him the PenisMiiAN.
I'm afraid that if I upload him, Nintendo will ban me forever. :P
