I never thought much about the speed of my Wii and the internet until I tried my sisters over at her house. She had not really downloaded anything and wanted me to show her how to get Toe Jam and Earl. I showed her how to buy Wii points and everything and when she downloaded the game it took her like 20 seconds. I've been lucky lately to have a download finish.
So am I supposed to be forwarding some ports or something? I'm running a Linksys WRT54G v5 router with cable modem that's plenty fast for everything else. Firmware Version: v1.01.1. She's got a D-link something or other, didn't get a good look at it last time I was there.
So anyone else notice this problem between different Wiis? I suppose it could even be different Wii versions or something.
