I saw kids as young as not-yet-born, and folks as old as I-done-shattered-my-hip. I even saw one guy who looked to be in his late 50s in an enforcer shirt.

One kid (probably around eleven) persuaded his family to take him there for his birthday in place of getting a gamecube title, so I did 'em a favor and unlocked all the stuff in Smash Brothers with my memory card. They had a blast.

I'm not sure how old the median age of Team Axxiom was, but they were young, and they kicked some serious ass at Halo 2. I was in awe at these's kids skills. Just one more reason PAX is like a summer camp/family reunion.

The youngest person that I hung out with was 15. He was a cool guy, and if it hadn't been brought up, I honestly doubt most people would have noticed his age.

I talked to a group of guys in line who were like 18 and 19. There was this 11-year-old and I who figured out how to skateboard on a crushed bus at the Hulk GameCube demo station in the Exhibitor's Hall - he was probably the youngest one I saw running around who wasn't actually attached to a parent.

    Why?

I'm 20, which is just below the average age I'd say.

I saw a couple young teens (12-13) in the tourny room during Mario Kart. Don't know if they had a parent or not, but they seemed pretty cool regardless.

And by cool, I mean non-annoying.

You should hook up with some other east coast people maybe we could get a discount. Plus it would be like a East Coast Supertrip, except all the gas money. I tried to start something like this before PAX05 but it didn't fly. I ended up going by my self.

Doubt anybody really judged us or anything, not like we were obnoxious or some shit.

However, did anybody see the kid in the UT2k4 tournament who made it past the first round? He didn't even come up to my waist, that kid must have been below 10 years old or something.

Well a east coast super trip drive sounds like a trmendous waste of time and money. Not to mention a great oppertunity to get lost. I was thinking more of a meet up at the air port or a couple days ahead and then we all board the same plane etc. This would have to be orchestrated/coordinated well in advance since some of us would like to get as large of a discount as possible on the early purchases of plane tickets.
