    I'm not sure if the first 2 lack eyes or have their eyes closed, but either way those dark recessed eye wells freak me out.

    i haven't seen some actual non ps paintings posted on here in quite a while. Not bad, though I agree with phool, you do need to clarify whether or not their eyes are closed or deep in shadow because it does look kinda creepy.

    I love paintings that have high contrast like that. Creepy sometimes, which can be good? I love the way Yoji Shinkawa does a lot of portraits like that. I think it works well for the first painting he did. Anyway, yeah...

    The first two pictures, were ref'd from photos with high contrast, but the second one has her eyes closed. Is there any way I could clarify them, so that it's more obvious?

    I figured I'd learn more traditional mediums before I learned how to use PS.
    That and I don't have a tablet or a copy of PS :P
