t-shirt design

So my bro is doing some fraternity alumni thing and he got asked to present ways to get the shirts made. I've been looking into it for him and it seems like cafe press would be a good way for everyone to get the shirts. Does anyone know about this thing? Also all the image making stuff it said like I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a good starter program for that?

I would like to put something clever and about me but I fear my company will find it

    CafePress is pretty low quality. It can get more expensive, but I can vouch that http://www.customink.com does really great work.

    well the other reason I want to use cafe press is I wanted to try my hand at hilarious t-shirt design. and this seems like the most pain free way to try it.

    I've used cafepress before. Never had any troubles with it. Usually I just buy like 1 hoodie or whatever from them if I think of some cool design or something and its really not any more expensive than getting one from a store.

    I do a lot of designs and I use Adobe Illustrator CS2.

    there was another custom shirt place out there that does better quality than cafepress, can't remember the name but its out there.. not helpful but i encourage you to look for others
