I really hate what they did with Countdown to Adventure and Countdown to Mystery

Charging a dollar extra so I get two stories I don't care about (Forerunner and Eclipso)

I'm really liking Countdown to Mystery and Adventure, Mystery even more so. I love the new Kent Nelson, and Gerber has him down perfectly. I even dig the backup stories. Recommended. :^:

See, I love Dr. Fate's story in CtM.

I don't like Eclipso's.

This makes me pissed that they canceled the Dr. Fate ongoing to turn it into Countdown to Mystery.

We're still getting the same story. Just the first six issues of it.

We may end up getting an ongoing after. It all depends on whether DC wants to do one, and if Gerber remains healthy enough to write one.

I wouldn't be surprised if BB will only be "alive" in the Time Stream, and can't return to the present day, which, by doing so would complete his "time loop" thus putting the bullet back in his head. I dunno.

One of those heads look just like Cyclops.


Can't wait for Justice Society though.

As with any good super team, there is always a squabble or two between members.

But essentially, the League of Shadows tried to take Sin in the Black Canary series, forcing Ollie and DInah to give her up. Hence the tension with Cassandra.

So I guess the lack of Miss Martian on the Teen Titans cover means that she's the one who leaves the team? Color me disappointed. :v:

The Green Arrow and Cassandra thing should be interesting, even though I don't think Cassandra's faction was involved in what happened to Sin and... oh, who am I kidding, I don't even think DC can keep all the different versions of the League straight anymore.

Chalk it up to bad painting and lighting.

The ones shown at the last few cons were much better looking, thought Batman is the worst.

Sculpts are really good though, though Star Sapphire has a quasi anime look to her that I don't dig. Cyborg just needs a darker wash over the metallic bits and SInestro needs a lighter skin tone and they'll be perfect.

Regardless of what faction, she was involved with the LoA and Ollie is a stubborn man.
