m4a codec for Windows Media 11

Does anyone know of a (free) codec or plugin that will allow me to play m4a files on Windows Media Player 11?

Otherwise a free way to convert the file type to mp3/wma without loss would be appreciated.

try downloading goldwave, just google it, and then load up your sound file, then choose save as mp3 at a bitrate of your discrection =) also, I believe lese a link for you...

    Vista Codecs Package

Pretty much every single codec for vista, if that doesnt have the m4a codec, i dunno =\ but give those a try first =)
