Ive been having some problems running games for about a month now. It started with Neverwinter Nights 2's graphics tearing horrendously and leaving artifacts all over the screen after I quit, forcing me to restart. Source engine games such as Team Fortress 2 and Episode 2 were causing textures to not display properly, it was playable but ugly with flashing red or white pixels showing up all over certain textures. I seemed to have fixed those problems by removing the side panel of my computer and keeping it open, leading me to believe something was just overheating. Those games are still playable like this and I thought the problem was solved.
My friends proceeded to talk me into buying Hellgate: London and playing with them, and despite being playable for a while sometimes, its also randomly bluescreens or restarts my computer. Sometimes 5 minutes in, sometimes after hours. So far Ive seen a few different Blue Screen messages, starting with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and unfortunately didn't write down the technical information. But just 10 minutes after the latter I encountered another error message so I wrote down the details this time.
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Stop: 0x00000050 (0xAE6A9634, 0x00000001, 0xAE69E42A, 0x00000000)
SYMEVENT.SYS Address AE69E42A base at AE698000 Date Stamp 00000000
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing all these errors? I tried updating the drivers on my video card, didn't help. I'm running a Pentium 4 2.6ghz, 2 gigs of RAM, a 128mb Radeon 9800 Pro, on an ABIT AI7 Motherboard.

Microsoft also says that Stop Error 0x00000050 is likely a driver issue. Updating your video/sound/whatever drivers couldn't hurt, either.
