A Case of Mistaken (well, stolen) Identity

Long story short, after a couple days of my check card getting declined for no reason, I found out that someone in Korea had attempted to make a charge to my debit card in the amount of $750, and VISA closed the card as a result. Fortunately, I only had about $100 in there at the time, so the transaction was declined and I'm not out any money.

Now, moving forward. Aside from the obvious move of getting all my cards/etc changed to new account numbers in case he had more than just my normal debit card and changing all my bank passwords, is there anything I should be aware of?

Do you have anything bills that automatically debit your card?

You may have payment problems if they try and charge to a card that is currently frozen.

I would suggest going to the bank and asking them to completely change your account numbers to new ones. This same sort of thing happened to me a few years ago, and it sounds like you're doing what you need to do.
Blaket's advice was also correct. If for some reason a payment ended up being late you should be able to clear it up pretty easily.
