the one night it dropped and some guildies PuGGed it with randoms on teh Burning Legion i hadda go to bed early. was crushed when i learned a priest wif' Benny's won it.....

The one that got away: This is a thread about that one piece of equipment, loot, or quest you had always wanted to acquire or complete, but you could never quite manage. Maybe you tried and had given up, or maybe you're even still working on it (despite having advanced well beyond the point of effectiveness). Either way, discuss your fruitless journey for your "holy grail".

As for gigawatt666, the object of his desire had long been the Staff of Rampant Growth. He almost had it too. One night he had gathered a group of unknown heroes, and though he was forced to abandon his quest early on, he was dismayed to find that later, a priest with the famed staff, "Benediction" had won the prized object.
