I need a new forum

Hi guys, I'm looking for a forum on which to discuss international events/politics. Instability in Pakistan, controversy over Iran, Russia flexing its muscles, and things involving the US, China, the EU etc etc.

I want a forum which talks about these issues. D&D has a few threads going about it, but as a forum its far too open ended. International events is what I'm looking for, and google is just not serving me very well in this. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be muchly appreciated.

What do you mean by "too open ended"?

what, is your new topic button disabled? DD thrives only if people are contributing; if you think something's missing, write up a couple of paras on something you want to talk about, drop a couple of links, and have at it :)

A bit open ended, but pretty focused on politics, here are my old boards for this purpose:

In D&D people talk about everything. Which is all well and good, but I'm looking for more depth on a specific subject, and people who are interested/knowledgeable about the subject. D&D has some good people in it, but the number who make intelligent posts in topics about international affairs is fairly small.

    ...hence this thread.

Does nobody have any suggestions? The one that was posted was too much like D&D, but thanks for the effort. I might just have to repost this over there.
