Help Programming Minesweeper clone in Python

I am supposed to make this Minesweeper clone:

http://hopper.unco.edu/course/CG120/F07/lab9.exe

but using Python. It is supposed to be a 30 x 30 playing field and for the life of me I can't figure out how to make the board. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. I hate to have others do my homework but this isn't even close to anything we've done before and I'm not very good at it anyhow.

There is both a beginning and advanced programming thread in the Tech subforum in G&T. I suggest you ask there because asking people to do your homework here is generally frowned upon. Good luck mate.

I just need help on how to make the board, but I guess I'll ask there. I didn't know about those threads.

    This can be locked then.
