My wife just let me know what she wants me Christmas present to be. It's this camera:

First I was blown away because it's way to expensive for us. Then she showed me she found this:

Same camera, way less. This seems way too good to be true. A lot of other websites have the same camera for closer to that Best Buy price.
My question is, I must be missing something, right?
Also, anyone have this camera or tried it before. At first glance it looks really awesome, and our old mini DV camcorder is really outdated and looks like crap on our HDTV.

Though I'd like to see if someone actually went through a sale with them... but no, this is a scam.
these guys use bait-and-switch tactics and high-pressure upselling to screw their customers, and if they get shut down or rack up too many BBB complaints, they just open up shop under a new company name.
